Fredi Bobic wants to leave Eintracht Frankfurt and give up his position as sports director for Hessen in the summer.

After successful years at Eintracht, Bobic is likely to be drawn back to Berlin, where he should bring the ailing Hertha back on the road to success.

Since Eintracht Bobic has refused to release, the 49-year-old's move is still dependent on a transfer fee.

According to information from "Bild", the Frankfurters probably insist on a payment of five million euros.

Although Bobic's departure is not yet a decided deal, Eintracht is already looking for a successor.

According to "Bild", the Frankfurters dream of a big coup: Bastian Schweinsteiger should be the preferred candidate for the post of sports director.

The 2014 world champion should therefore be at the top of a list of possible Bobc successors.

However, the club has not yet contacted Schweinsteiger.

Schweinsteiger was eight times German champion with Bayern, won the Champions League and led Germany to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

It would be a leader with great steel strength.

The 36-year-old is currently working, among other things, as a TV expert for ARD.

He is also working with the Swiss author Martin Suter on a biographical novel that is due to hit the market this year.

Jonas Boldt is also on Frankfurt's list

Schweinsteiger and his wife Ana Ivanovic have moved their center of life from Chicago to Kitzbühel, Austria.

It is difficult to imagine that Schweinsteiger's current life plan is compatible with his job as sports director at Eintracht.

That's why the Frankfurters should also be interested in Jonas Boldt as Bobic's successor.

The 39-year-old has a contract as a sports director at the second division club Hamburger SV until 2023.
