Mattias Nilsson remains in Nove Mesto - the rest will travel home

The Swedish riders could compete as usual in Czech Nove Mesto as their meetings with the management staff had been held digitally.

But the entire management staff was quarantined.

Now the other national team leaders, Johannes Lukas, Johan Hagström and Jean-Marc Chabloz, have tested negative and then they can travel home in a "quarantine-safe way".

But that Nilsson misses the end of the season at home in Östersund is certain.

- For me, it is very sad not to be able to end the season with the team at home.

But I feel good based on prevailing circumstances and I am grateful that I have good support around me, says Nilsson.

The squad and exactly what the management staff will look like in Östersund will be presented tomorrow, Tuesday.

The competitions run from Friday to Sunday this week and are broadcast on SVT.
