The European Football Association (UEFA) announced today, Wednesday, that Manchester City will face Borussia Monchengladbach in the second leg of the Champions League 16th round in Budapest after the decision to hold the match in a neutral stadium.

The match was supposed to take place at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester City, while the first-leg match was held in the Hungarian capital on February 24 instead of Germany, which ended with City winning 2-0.

UEFA said in a statement: "We can officially confirm that the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 between Manchester City and Borussia Moenchengladbach will now be played at Puskas Stadium in Budapest."

The statement continued: "(UEFA) would like to thank Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach for their support and cooperation, as well as the Hungarian Football Association for assistance and approval to hold the match."

European matches, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, have been affected, among other confrontations, due to travel restrictions amid the epidemic, to be held in neutral stadiums this season.
