The UAE Football Association's Statistics and Documentation Committee recommends fixing player statistics for the 91-90 season

Today, Wednesday, the Emirates Football Association’s Statistics and Documentation Committee decided to submit a recommendation to the Football Association’s board of directors to approve the confirmation of player statistics resulting from the league competition in the 90-91 season that was not completed. These statistics include the number of goals scored and yellow and red cards until the competition stops for the purposes of statistics. Only without any legal implications.

The committee said in a press statement: “It met for the second time under the chairmanship of Muhammad Al-Joker with the participation of Mansour Abdullah, Vice Chairman of the Committee, Farhan Al-Marzouki, Hussein Al-Mansouri and Sultan Al Ali, members of the committee, and Salem Al-Naqbi as a rapporteur, and decided to adopt the recommendation after reviewing a letter received by the committee from Al Wasl Club regarding the calculation Goals for the season 90-91 for former club and national team player Fahd Khamis.

She explained: "The decision came after the president and members of the committee reviewed all the documents and decisions issued by the Football Association Board of Directors meeting, after which the decision was taken not to complete the sports season 90-91, as well as after referring to the official records in the Federation's statements regarding match results and the ranking of scorers for the 90th season. -91 ".

For his part, Chairman of the Committee Muhammad Al-Joker said: "The decision comes within the framework of the committee and the Football Association's keenness to preserve the rights of all players and the numbers that they registered to remain in their historical record, indicating that the committee was keen to search and review all files and documents for the 90-91 season that It was not completed in coordination with the Legal Department of the Federation. "
