  The detailed list includes: Chris Bosh, Michael Cooper, Tim Hardaway, Marquis Johnson, Paul Pierce, Ben Wallace, Chris Webber, Rick Adelman (coach ), Bill Russell (coach), Leta Andrew (high school coach), Mariana Stanley (WNBA coach), Lauren Jackson (former WNBA player), Yolanda Griffith (former WNBA player) and Jay White (NCAA coach).

  Among them, Bill Russell was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame as a player as early as 1975.

This time he was shortlisted as the first black head coach in NBA history.

The final list will be announced on May 16, 2021, and the selection ceremony is expected to be held in September.
