Hanna Aronsson Elfman missed the podium just in Monday's super-G.
She was four, 38 hundredths off the podium.
But in today's giant slalom she took a real revenge.
After the first run, Aronsson led Elfman by 31 hundredths and she increased it significantly in the second run.
She delivered a fast and stable ride in the light snowfall in Bulgarian Bansko and drove in as a finish number one full 75 hundredths before the second, Norwegian Marte Monsen.
Slovenian Neja Dvornik finished third.
The Swedes fastest
Hanna Aronsson Elfman, who comes from Karlstad, finished fourth in the giant slalom last JVM.
The gold gives her a place in the World Cup final in Lenzerheide, Switzerland next weekend.
She has started in the World Cup three times before.
In February, she took her first podium place in the European Cup when she came second in the giant slalom in Livigno, Italy.
The second best Swede was Sara Rask who won JVM gold in giant slalom last season.
Today she ended up just off the podium in fourth place despite the second fastest ride time in the second run.
The fastest in the second race was another Swede, Moa Boström Müssener, but that was only enough for a seventh place today.
Hilma Lövblom was in fifth place after the first run, but she drove out in the second run.
