The format for the Swedish Championship finals in bandy is changing.
Namely, they are moved from Studenternas to Recoverhallen in Uppsala.
The finals will thus be played indoors.
- We want to give TV viewers the best possible experience and we believe we can give it by moving the final, says Per Selin, League Manager for Swedish Elite Bandy, to SVT Sport.
- A bandy final at Studenternas with 20,000 in the stands is unbeatable, but we have had to adapt to the current situation.
Now there are not even stands left at Studenternas, says Per Selin to SVT Sport.
It is already clear that the matches will be played without an audience on site.
SVT broadcasts the Swedish Championship finals, which will be played on March 27.
