End of season for Romanian referee Sebastian Coltescu, suspended until the end of the season by UEFA for “inappropriate behavior” during the PSG-Basaksehir match in the Champions League group stage.

Accused of having uttered a racist term against a member of the staff of the Turkish club, he was sanctioned as well as his compatriot, Octavian Sovre, assistant referee punished more lightly with a "reprimand".

The assistant coach of the Turkish club was indignant at having been referred to as "the black" in Romanian ("negru") by one of the two men.

Supported by Demba Ba, his anger had led to the interruption and then the postponement of the meeting by the players.

The match finally resumed the next day, with a Parisian victory.
