It was a Norwegian / Swedish settlement in the men's Vasalopp.
But with eight kilometers left, the Norwegian Tord Asle Gjerdalen made a move that Swedish Anton Karlsson could not match.
With 2.5 kilometers left, Gjerdalen's lead was 22 seconds.
The Norwegian finally came in as the winner on really tired legs in the record time of three hours, 28 minutes and 18 seconds.
He thus beats Jörgen Brink's record from 2012 in three hours, 38 minutes and 41 seconds by a large margin.
