Reactions varied after the Al-Jazeera and Shabab Al-Ahly meeting, the day before yesterday, in the 19th round of the Arab Gulf League, and the result ended in a 1-1 positive draw, the most prominent of which was from Shabab Al-Ahly's coach, Mahdi Ali, who stressed that the error was considered by the referee at the time of the killer. From the meeting, and Al-Jazira scored the equalizer from him, it was not correct, as he put it.

The Al-Jazira players and their technical staff seemed relieved to come out with a tie point at a deadly time, while it was in contrast to the Shabab Al-Ahly players, after losing two points that could have changed the shape of the competition map for the league title.

Al-Jazira player, Milos Kivanovic, the Serbian player, scored the equalizing goal in the "90 + 2" minute, to raise his team's score to the 41st point, to strengthen Al-Jazira from his lead.

Al-Ahly youth coach, Mahdi Ali, said in a press conference: “Al-Jazeera got a point that may be decisive for their interest in winning the league championship,” adding: “I can only congratulate my team players for the effort they made in the Al-Jazira match and the last matches in a way. General, as we started to play an official match every three days, and this constitutes a doubled physical effort on them, but despite that they dominated the match, especially in the second half, and they had a preference on the level of the result, and had it not been for the error that occurred at the end of the match, we would have gone out with the three points.

Mahdi Ali said: "The mistake that Al-Jazira scored a draw was not correct, as there was no friction on the part of our players with the Al-Jazira striker, but in general we are satisfied with the performance and we always aspire to provide the best in every match we play."

For his part, Al-Jazira coach, Dutchman Marcel Kaiser, affirmed that "the point obtained by his team is fair, sympathetic to the desire, persistence and determination of the players not to lose."

He concluded: "We may not have played the same way we did in previous matches, but there was a preference for us in terms of possession and creation of opportunities, and what is considered for the players is that they fought to the end and not succumbed to loss, so I see that the tie point rewarded them for their high morale."
