China News Service, March 4th. CBA officially announced the selection results of the All-Star 25th Anniversary Team on the 3rd.
After voting by fans, three sets of best lineups were produced in three different eras of 1996-2000, 2001-2010, and 2011-2020.
The final list of the best team is as follows:
1996-2000 era-frontcourt: Wang Zhizhi, Yao Ming, Liu Yudong; backcourt: Hu Weidong, Li Xiaoyong.
2001-2010 era-frontcourt: Yao Ming, Zhu Fangyu, Yi Jianlian; backcourt: Liu Wei, Hu Weidong.
2011-2020 era-frontcourt: Yi Jianlian, Wang Zhizhi, Zhu Fangyu; backcourt: Guo Ailun, Marbury.
In this list involving a total of 10 people and 15 players, 5 stars including Yao Ming and Wang Zhizhi have spanned two eras, appeared in the best team list twice, and were selected as active players in the best team. Only Yi Jianlian and Guo Ailun.
According to the previously announced schedule, this season's All-Star Weekend will run from March 19 to March 21.
