Thatcher Demko played big in the Vancouver goal and kept a clean sheet for the first time during the regular season game in the NHL.
- He looked fantastic tonight, he looked really comfortable and did a lot of good things.
He had a lot of confidence back there and we needed him to be good.
Congratulations to his first (zero), hopefully there will be many more, says 1-0 shooter Nate Schmidt about Demko.
Demko himself did not want to take on too much of the credit for the end result.

They (Winnipeg) tried to fight back in the match but we took care of it and kept the game in all 60 minutes.
