Rescheduling the match between Saudi Arabia and Palestine in the World Cup qualifiers

Today, the AFC modified some match dates that were scheduled for March 25 and 30, 2021 in the joint qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and Asia 2023. The amendments included matches that take place in March only, other than those that were postponed to next June.

According to a statement by the continental federation, the amendments concern Saudi Arabia's match with Palestine in Group D, which will be held on March 30 at King Saud University Stadium, in Riyadh, while Tajikistan's match with Mongolia in Group F will be held on 25 in Dushanbe, and the match between Mongolia and Japan in the same group on the 30th. March, in Pechiba.

On the other hand, the federation said that it opened the door to national federations wishing to host their group matches in the grouping system, provided that the host countries would be announced in the coming period.
