An Egyptian donates her golden earring to renew a player’s contract in "Zamalek"

An Egyptian woman donated her golden earring to renew the contract of Ferjani Sassi, the Zamalek midfielder, according to the official website of Zamalek.

Egyptian media reported that Hajjah Suzan visited the club for 3 days, before she was able to meet the Vice President of Zamalek Club Hisham Ibrahim to offer him to donate her golden earring to renew the contract of Tunisian midfielder Ferjani Sassi, which ends at the end of this season.

Mrs. Zamalekawy came with a small sum of money for the price of her only earring, which she sold, to donate to the club, after she read ideas and suggestions in this regard on the media.

Suzanne made a donation before the club, and Sassi received her before the training session, and promised her that he would fulfill her request to continue with the club during the next year.

It is noteworthy that Zamalek fans recently launched an initiative across platforms to contribute to the renewal of Sassi's contract.

A source inside the White Castle revealed that the club's management offered the player two million euros annually in exchange for renewal, the equivalent of 38 million, excluding taxes, registration fees and some other fees amounting to 500 thousand euros per season.
