HV71 got off to a dream start, when already after 1.49 they took the lead through the Kennedy Marchment which ended nicely from close range.
But Modo was able, just after their powerplay ended, to equalize just over seven minutes later when Jaycee Magwood on her own went from the left edge of the rim to the right technical circle and flicked in 1-1.
