Mathieu Faivre's fine form continues.
The Frenchman who took gold in the giant slalom at the WC on Saturday was second in the giant slalom in Bansko in Bulgaria.
He then led after the first run but was defeated by the Croatian Filip Zubcic.
On Sunday, it was time for the giant slalom in Bulgaria again.
This time too, Faivre showed that his form is still very good as he did a good run and leads after the first race, 42 hundredths ahead of runner-up Loic Meillard from Switzerland.
Filip Zubcic on the other hand, had a terrible day.
After a big miss, he was far behind in goal, a full 3.10 behind the Frenchman in 18th place.
