After Oliver Solberg's fourth time on SS2 on Friday night, expectations were immediately raised for Värmland in the Finnish World Rally Championship.

And the WRC debutant delivered immediately on SS3.

He lost time in the beginning when he slowed down where Lorenzo Bertelli had parked his car in a snowdrift, but gradually increased the pace and finished in the time of 13.59.1.

Third place on the route

It was finally enough for a third place on the stretch, 4.6 seconds behind Ott Tänak, Hyundai, and 3.6 seconds behind Thierry Neuville.

Oliver Solberg remains in eighth place overall in the rally but is approaching the cars in front.

Three seconds separate to seventh Takamoto Katsuta and 3.6 to sixth Teemu Suninen.

Ott Tänak is still in the WRC top, 23.6 seconds ahead of Craig Breen and 26.1 seconds ahead of Kalle Rovanperä.
