Calle Halfvarsson has had a difficult season.

But in January, the news came that he had enlisted the help of ski legend Gunde Svan to get his form in order.

- The whole season has been tricky for Calle and they got in touch after the ski games in Falun.

I felt sorry for Calle, that he did not get his stomach or shape in order.

So if you can participate and contribute, it's fun.

When it receives is when you need the help, Svan says to SVT Sport.

Halfvarsson has said that he sees the Swan as a mentor for him.

"Must listen to the body"

- He must learn to listen to the body and understand the signals.

It is perhaps the most difficult thing as an athlete to distinguish all signals from the body because the bud controls the whole body and the interaction between them if you are to be able to perform.

But to believe in some miracles from Halfvarsson in the WC is to have too high expectations, says Svan.

- After the ski games in Falun, Calle was at the test center and went through the body and got a lot of answers.

Unfortunately, it is a prognosis that says that it will take four to six weeks before this overtraining has released in these fast fibers.

Time is ticking and we are in maybe the third or fourth week and as Calle says he may have to lower expectations this time, says Gunde Svan.
