Calgary has been having a hard time lately.
Before the away game against Ottawa, they had five losses in six games.
But against the Senators came a proper discharge.
Already in the middle of the first period, Calgary had acquired a 3-0 lead.
2-0 came through Mikael Backlund and just over six minutes later came 3-0 through a quick shot from Elias Lindholm.
Backlund also assisted to both 5-1 and 6-2.
Before the final period, Calgary led 6-2.
Ottawa looked good in the numbers but Calgary clearly won 6-3.
Calgary is now fifth in the North Division.
