France-New Zealand at the opening of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, no more, no less.

The director of the French World Cup Claude Atcher took advantage of the unveiling of the competition calendar - which will last a week longer - to confirm that the poster between French and All Blacks would open the ball on September 8, 2023.

The XV of France will follow with a match a priori simpler against a nation resulting from the qualifiers of the America zone in Lille then a nation of the Africa zone in Marseille before rubbing shoulders with Italy, in Lyon, on October 6.

She should then play her potential quarter-final at the Stade de France, where it all starts against New Zealand.
