China Badminton Association confirms that Tangyou Cup will be settled in Chengdu in 2024

The Tangyou Cup is the world's highest-level badminton men's and women's team competition. It is generally held in even-numbered years and the competition date is usually mid-May.

The participating teams are the top 16 national men's and women's badminton teams in the world. The competition is divided into a group stage and a knockout stage.

In the last Tangyu Cup competition held in Bangkok in 2018, the Chinese men's team defeated the Japanese team in the final and won the Thomas Cup again after a lapse of 6 years; while the Chinese women's feather team lost to the Thai team in the semifinals, 34 years later Missed the final for the first time.

The right to host the 2020 Tony Cup is won by Aarhus, Denmark. This is also the first time the tournament has been held in Denmark.

However, the competition was postponed due to the new crown pneumonia epidemic and has not yet been held.
