The new case of Covid detected Wednesday evening within the XV of France after the new battery of tests has therefore changed everything.

The organizers of the VI Nations Tournament decided this Thursday to postpone the match of the 3rd day between France and Scotland scheduled for Sunday, report France TV and AFP.

The meeting was initially held on Wednesday because no positive test had been noted for 48 hours.

But we must believe that the chain of contamination is not completely broken.

Under these conditions, impossible to play.

Postponement to March 7?

Scotland does not suit ...

The positive test of a new player, whose identity has not been specified by the French Rugby Federation, this Thursday brought the number of Covid cases in the ranks of the France group to sixteen: twelve players, including eight holders since the start of the Tournament, plus four members of the team, including coach Fabien Galthié.

The Tournament Organizing Committee is considering the date on which the match could be rescheduled.

Sunday March 7 is mentioned but that does not suit Scotland, which must release a large part of its players under an agreement with the clubs.
