15 major victories and "Tiger slam"

The marriage scandal
On November 27, 2009, Tiger Woods crashed into a fire extinguisher at his home in Florida.
His Swedish wife Elin Nordegren had to smash the window with a golf club to get her husband out of the car.
But the aftermath of the accident was about something completely different.
Information emerged about two different infidelity deals.
The rumors were then confirmed when one of the women revealed intimate messages between her and Tiger Woods.
Her openness led to more women stepping forward and telling the same thing.
It was a hard blow for Tiger Woods who had to take a break from golf to work on his marriage and his image.

The damage
In 2008 and 2009, Tiger Woods had problems with a heel, something that became recurring in 2011 and 2012 as well.

The perfect return
When he made a comeback in the Hero World Challenge 2017, after several years of back problems, he was ranked 1199th in the world before the competition.
