Soccer player Ki Sung-yong (FC Seoul, 32), who was suspicious of raping a junior in the soccer team in elementary school, completely denied the controversy through an official position.

Today (24th), Ki Sung-yong's agency C2 Global released a press release and said, "As a result of checking with myself, we have confirmed that it has nothing to do with the reports of the person claiming to be a victim."

In addition, he predicted that "the legal response will be unsafe in the future for damage suffered from stigma related to this and possible damage in the future."

Earlier, Park Ji-hoon of Law Firm Hyun's lawyer revealed through a press release that "C and D, former soccer players, were forced to have oral sex by seniors A and B during the soccer club of an elementary school in Jeollanam-do."

In the process, as Mr. A, who was designated as the perpetrator, was known as a star player from the national team who recently joined a prestigious club in the metropolitan area, netizens came up with speculation that "A is not Ki Sung-yong."

According to the alleged victims, sexual assault was conducted dozens of times in the soccer club camp from January to June 2000, when the perpetrators were in the 6th grade and the victims were in the 5th grade.

Attorney Park said, "The victims are still in pain with vivid memories of those days until now, 20 years later," he said. "It is so specific that it is possible to specify until the date, so we decided to disclose the case."
