A combination lottery for Senbatsu High School Baseball, which will start at Koshien Stadium on the 19th of next month, was held, and the opponents for the first round of 32 schools to participate in were decided.

The 93rd Senbatsu High School Baseball Combination Lottery began at 3:00 pm on the 23rd and was held online to prevent infection with the new coronavirus.

Then, the captains of the 32 participating schools participated remotely and drew lots, and the opponents for the first round were decided.

▼ On the first day of the tournament, in the first match immediately after the opening ceremony, Kobe Kokusai University High School in Hyogo and Hokkai High School in Hokkaido will play against each other.

▼ In the first match on the third day of the tournament, Okinawa's Gushikawa Commercial High School and Aomori's Hachinohe Nishi High School will play against each other.

This year's Senbatsu High School Baseball is being prepared with a policy of holding a small number of spectators after thoroughly taking measures against infection, such as conducting PCR tests on about 1000 players and related parties.

The tournament will start on the 19th of next month and will be held for 13 days including rest days.
