Pia Sundhage took double Olympic gold as the national team captain with the USA before she left for the same role in Sweden.

In 2019, Sundhage took over as the national team captain for Brazil and just under a month ago, the 60-year-old chose to extend his contract until 2024.

But she still has a lot to work on with Brazil.

During the night until Monday, she met the USA for the first time as the national team captain for Brazil when the team settled in the training tournament SheBelieves Cup, but it was a 2-0 loss.

Rapinoe decided

Brazil, who in the first match of the tournament drove over Argentina with 4-1 got a tough start when Christen Press put 1-0 already in the eleventh minute before Megan Rapinoe punctured the match to 2-0 in the 88th minute.

The big star Alex Morgan made his first start for the USA since the 2019 World Cup but was replaced goalless after 70 minutes of play.

With the victory, the USA is now in the driver's seat to take home the SheBelieves Cup, which is played as a group game.

It is now enough for them to take one point in the last match against Argentina to take home the tournament.

Brazil meets Canada in their last match.
