Zamalek announces the end of the football team crisis in Algeria

The Egyptian club Zamalek announced that the first team football mission left Algeria a short while ago on its way to Senegal, in preparation for the Senegalese Tounjeth match next Tuesday in the second round of the group stage of the African Champions League.

Zamalek club said in an official statement today, Sunday, that after the crisis that occurred to the football team during the past hours in Algeria, the committee in charge of managing the club formed an emergency committee to manage the team's recent crisis.

The club's soccer team was suspended in Algeria amid refusing to enter the club’s plane into the airway from Algeria to Senegal, before the Zamalek administration intervened by making contacts with all responsible authorities to solve the crisis.

Zamalek added that all the responsible authorities in Egypt responded to the contacts that took place with them, especially as he represented Egypt in the African Championship, and those efforts resulted in a solution to the crisis.

"The plane moved from Algeria to Senegal a while ago, via the air route in Mauritania," the statement said.
