There was a certain medal chance when Hanna Öberg left the first horizontal shooter.

Then it was only 18 seconds up to the podium but Öberg did not have enough speed in the track to be able to participate and threaten the podium despite a flawless shooting in the last stand.

Norway won the relay after Marte Olsbu Röiseland showed mental strength on the last leg.

She started the horizontal shot with three booms but then put all the extra shots and escaped the penalty round and after an extra shot in standing, the victory was complete.

- She sorted it out again, just like in the mixed relay, says SVT Sports expert Björn Ferry about Röiseland.

In pure riding time, Sweden was no better than the seventh nation.

Victory Norway, for example, had eleven extra shots to compare with Sweden's nine.

- It took too much time for Johanna Skottheim and there were a few too many extra shots.

But above all, the skiing was not working, how were the skis?

asks the expert Helena Ekholm.

- I went pretty hard the first two laps, took a chance in the track, and became ruggedly dumb the last lap, says third distance Elvira Öberg.

- I got a little nervous after missing the second reserve shot in horizontal but got them down and took revenge in the standout, says second leg Linn Persson, who took in three seconds on leading Norwegian Tiril Eckhoff on the sprint lap.

Sweden got off to a tough start after Johanna Skottheim went into 14th place, close to the minute after the lead.

- It's too bad with three reserve shots.

I shoot as many extra shots as in all the previous relays, says the first leg Skottheim.
