Sebastian Samuelsson picked up a Swedish flag from a physio along the track before the riot in Pokljuka.

Something that surprised the gold-celebrating Norwegians.

- It was a bit on the high side.

When I watched the replay, I thought "was it Sweden who won?", Says Johannes Thingnes Bö.

- But I think it's nice that you can show sports joy not only when you win.

It's important, so that's how I was glad Sebbe took the flag.

TT: But you had not done the same?

- No, I will probably never take a flag for a silver or bronze medal.

"Then I think they should take a Norwegian flag"

Samuelsson laughs when he hears the girls.

- I think it was fun to take a flag today, and I think we do a fantastic relay, he says.

Samuelsson has now won four medals and thus thought he had every right to celebrate with a flag in his hand.

- I think it's okay.

When they take silver in the Olympics in Beijing behind us then I think they can get a Norwegian flag as well.

Thingnes Bö did not want to meet Samuelsson

Norway surprised with their line-up when they put Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen, who did not run a single World Cup race, on the last leg instead of Johannes Thingnes Bö.

The reason was that they considered Christiansen to have a better chance in a possible sprint with Samuelsson, who cracked Bö in the battle for the silver in the World Cup hunt start.

- There was no sprint, that was the whole thing about putting me on the last stretch.

I wished I could show myself a little against "Sebbe", but the gold still tastes just as good.

But we will see what happens next year, then it is the Olympics in Beijing and then maybe it will be a sprint, Christiansen says.

Who then crosses the finish line with a flag in hand remains to be seen.
