Heracles Almelo gave Silvester van der Water permission on Friday to complete a transfer.

The attacker is therefore missing from the selection for Sunday's game against RKC Waalwijk.

"Silvester is not in the match selection, he is given the time and space to complete a transfer. The rest of the selection is currently fit," said Heracles coach Frank Wormuth on Sunday.

Van der Water has long been associated with a transfer to the American Orlando City SC.

According to

Tubantia

, the wing attacker is now actually on his way to the club from the state of Florida.

Last week, Orlando already strengthened himself with Alexandre Pato.

The 31-year-old Brazilian played for AC Milan between 2007 and 2013.

With the Portuguese Nani (including ex-Manchester United), the club still has a former top player in the ranks.

Van der Water was previously fined by Heracles

At the beginning of this season, the 24-year-old Van der Water refused to play with Heracles in the match against Willem II, because the club did not want him to leave for Orlando.

The Almelo club gave the player the maximum fine and put him out of the selection temporarily.

The new season in the MLS starts on the first weekend in April.

The clubs will soon start preparing.

In addition to Van der Water, Heracles also misses the suspended left back Giacomo Quagliata in Waalwijk.

RKC-Heracles starts on Sunday at 12.15 pm.
