Fanny Roos, Malmö AI, has had a brilliant start to the season where she twice broke a new Swedish indoor record in shot put, most recently a couple of weeks ago when she hit 18.66.

In the indoor SM, however, she started by bumping well below her record of 18.66.

But despite that, it was still a shock of 17.38 in the first, long enough to secure a gold already there.

But she showed shortly afterwards that she can push far when she hit 18.51 in the third round.

It was also the longest for Roos. Second was Sara Lennman from Spårvägen in 16.91. The bronze went to Frida Åkerström, Hässelby, at 16.77. Only five centimeters ahead of club mate Axelina Johansson.
