"Round of Hope" revives 3 teams to compete for the Arab Gulf League

Round 17 of the Arab Gulf Football League, which concluded today, Friday, revived the hopes of three teams (Bani Yas, Al Nasr and Shabab Al Ahly) to compete for the Arab Gulf Football League title, after the leaders of Al Jazeera and Sharjah settled for a draw at this stage of the competition.

Sharjah continued a series of negative results to lose the seventh point in a row after tying away with Al Dhafra with a goal for each, while Al Jazeera did not benefit from the gift of the "King", and settled with a tie with Bani Yas by a 3/3 positive tie after a choppy match, while Bani Yas retained the third place. With 33 points, four points behind Al Jazira and Sharjah.

Al-Nasr benefited from the draws of the trio at the forefront, and was able to return from Ajman with the three points after winning three points, while Al-Ahly youth also did not miss the opportunity and beat Hatta hardly 2/1 after he was defeated with a goal without a response, to raise his balance to the 29th point, continuing his start Towards crowding out the summit owners.

In Al-Ain, the leader continued his victories after beating Fujairah 1/3 to raise his score to the 30th point, equal to the victory in the number of points, and the distances between him and the leaders were close.

Al-Wehda surpassed Al-Wasl in the league table ranking after its victory over Khor Fakkan, and the exciting Emperor drew with Ittihad Kalba 4/4.

The struggle for survival did not witness any changes in the centers, as Hatta remained in the last place, preceded by Ajman, then Fujairah and Khor Fakkan, after losing all of them at that stage of the competition.

Round 17 saw 29 goals scored, bringing the total of the league's goals to 365 in the 119 matches played in the league so far.
