Malmö had the chance to get up on safe ground and past Oskarshamn at three points.

For Oskarshamn, it was a chance to create a gap down to the qualifiers.

And that would swing in the match.

Where Oskarshamn first took the lead halfway into the first period, but then saw Malmö catch up after a couple of minutes and then take the lead early in the second period.

But before others were over, Oskarshamn's shooter king John Dahlström was able to level the match in powerplay when he skillfully at the far post with his feet could give himself the puck and put it in an empty cage.

Malmö would take back the lead six minutes into the third.

After a nice clap-clap game where Adam Ollas Mattsson found Pathrik Westerholm who passed on to his brother Ponthus who could easily send in 3-2 behind a chanceless Joe Cannata.

And that goal became crucial for Malmö who could hold off and take all three points home to Skåne.

- Every point is vital for us.

It was nice to be able to decide again, says Ponthus Westerholm to C More.
