The Dubai Sports Council launches the "Development Program for Professional Players in Dubai Football Companies", which was approved by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Council, and directed its implementation starting from this February under the slogan "Your career is your future", as an important addition to the development of all Employees of Dubai football clubs and companies, with various administrative and technical specializations, as well as coaches and players.

A press release said: “The Board of Directors of the Dubai Sports Council approved in its meeting last January the details of the program and the work plan for the next three sporting seasons, and the program represents the latest efforts of the Council in the field of work development that started since the council was established and confirmed during the first Dubai International Sports Conference in the summer of this year. 2006 that professionalism is the best solution to developing the performance and results of teams, and that professionalism will not be successful without the development of all workers in the sports system in general and football in particular.

The program aims to achieve the professional commitment of professional players to the football companies in Dubai, namely: Al-Nasr, Shabab Al-Ahly, Al Wasl and Hatta, and to invest professional players (citizens and foreigners) through their participation in the company's social responsibility programs and the promotion of sponsors, products and the club's store (through a monthly program for each player or group of Players, in a way that enhances the opportunities for linking football activity with society, the public and the media and positively affects the growth of the mass base of football companies and their partners and their revenues from the private sector), and improves the lifestyle of the professional player in accordance with the requirements of professionalism and the best international practices in this field.

The program targets about 200 national players from the first team and the U-21 team, foreign and resident professional players, and elite players from the ages of 14-19 years, and it includes educational lectures, educational courses, and lectures for foreign players about the country's culture and traditions and learning the Arabic language, in addition to Lectures and courses for the post-retirement phase and strengthening the players ’decisions to make football their profession within the sports law.

The main lecturer is participating in the program, the football expert Avram Grant, the former technical director of the teams of Israel, Ghana and Chelsea, Portsmouth and West Ham English, Partizan Belgrade, Serbian and Teru Sasana of Thailand, who has a long and varied training experience with clubs and national teams, which he is currently employing in the field of training of coaches through advanced workshops. And advanced lectures and training courses for trainers in many countries, and it was agreed between the Council and Coach Grant to cooperate in this field during the trainer's visit to the headquarters of the Council last November and his meeting with the Secretary General of the Council.

The Dubai Sports Council said that during the past years, it launched many initiatives and programs and organized various courses for the development of workers, including the appointment and development of assistant coaches in the first football team, then all sports with their qualification and providing them with the opportunity to develop their levels through courses and coexistence inside and outside the country, and obtain advanced training certificates It also allows them to train the first team, in addition to the programs for talented players, foremost of which are the future striker and the future guard, which included training periods with elite international coaches inside and outside the country, developing administrators and supervisors, developing football academies and other sports, organizing various junior tournaments and academies, and organizing educational lectures. And the meeting with former stars as part of the experience exchange program, in which a number of players with successful professional experience participated.
