Announcing the duration of Bogba's absence from the stadiums

Manchester United's second coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, announced on Wednesday that his French international midfielder Paul Pogba, who was injured in his right thigh, would not return to the stadiums before next March at the very least.

Solskjaer said that Pogba "has started his treatment, and that will continue for a few more weeks. He will not play in February, that's for sure."

The 27-year-old was knocked out in the 39th minute during his side's 3-3 draw with Everton on February 6, just days after he was named the club's Player of the Month for January.

"We will wait a few more weeks before seeing Paul (Pogba), that's for sure," he added.

The Norwegian spoke at a press conference on the eve of the first-leg match of his team in the 16th round of the European League (Europa League) against Real Sociedad of Spain on Thursday, which will be held in Turin, Italy, due to travel restrictions imposed by the Spanish authorities to counter the spread of mutated versions of the Corona virus.

Regarding the confrontation with the Basque team, Solskjaer indicated that his Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani and Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek will not be in the squad.

He said, "Van de Beek and Edinson are unfortunately injured in the muscles, so they will not travel with the team."

The participation of French striker Anthony Martial and Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay remains unconfirmed, according to Solskjaer, who doubted that they would be "fit enough" and that they would be tested on the morning of the match.
