On the 17th, a woman who worked on the sports for the disabled "Boccia" and was a holy fire runner at the Tokyo Olympics visited an elementary school in Kofu City and appealed to children the importance of having a dream.

On the 17th, Mr. Chiaki Tanaka, Vice Chairman of the Yamanashi Prefecture Boccia Association and a torchbearer of the Tokyo Olympics, visited Ishida Elementary School in Kofu City.



Mr. Tanaka lives in a wheelchair 14 years ago due to an unexplained illness with paralysis in his limbs.



Mr. Tanaka first experienced boccia with about 50 fifth grade children, and the children were delighted with cheers when the ball stopped.



After that, Mr. Tanaka gave a lecture and talked about his continued challenge to the torchbearer of the Tokyo Olympics, and if he made an effort to overcome the trials, the wonderful world would spread beyond that. I completed the colored paper with the words "" on the spot.
