Frederic Thiriez responds to the controversy.

The presidential candidate of the French Football Federation, who has been accused of posting the names of personalities in his list of supporters on his campaign site without their endorsement, left his reserve Monday evening.

On Twitter, the former president of the LFP “denounces the harassment to which [his] supporters are victims.

Since the entry into the campaign of my competitor (Noël Le Graët), on February 11, several of these personalities have told me that they have suffered threats of all kinds, economic but not only, harassment and intimidation, so that their name be removed from my support committee.

"

The list is now inaccessible

As specified in the press release, the list of supporters has been removed from Frédéric Thiriez's site.

This is more precisely protected by a password.

Tony Parker and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga - whose name appeared on the list with a disastrous spelling - have denied in recent days that they have supported Thiriez's candidacy.
