The XV of France was placed in solitary confinement.

A PCR test on Tuesday revealed a case of Covid-19 within the technical staff of Fabien Galthié, himself considered a "suspicious and unconfirmed" case according to the French Rugby Federation.

“Following the PCR tests carried out last night in Marcoussis with the XV of France, all the players tested negative, a member of the technical staff tested positive, as well as a suspicious and unproven case concerning Fabien Galthié who will be retested this morning (Tuesday) ”, detailed the FFR in a press release.

Everyone will be retested on Wednesday morning

In accordance with the health protocol, all the members of the team and the management were isolated and "interactions are limited to the maximum", specifies the Federation.

The entire selection will be retested on Wednesday morning at the CNR in Marcoussis, where the Blues are gathered.

The XV of France returned to Marcoussis after their historic victory in Ireland (15-13) on Sunday, the second in as many meetings in the 2021 Six Nations Tournament.
