Nicolas Batum was not in the game when the Clippers won against Miami on Monday night.

According to the franchise from Los Angeles, the French suffered a concussion preventing him from taking part in the meeting.

At first, the reason given by the California franchise was a "headache" in their report of players unavailable prior to the meeting.

This was then confirmed by coach Tyron Lue, specifying that the player had complained of headaches during the day.

Not a first for Batum

After that, the Clips made an update with "concussion", without any clarification being made.

According to the

Los Angeles Daily News

, Batum received a blow to the face on Sunday night, on contact with Jarrett Allen, in the win over Cleveland.

Which had not prevented him from finishing the meeting.

This is not the first time the 32-year-old international has suffered a concussion.

In 2013, when playing for the Portland Trail Blazers, he crashed heavily after a dunk in training and had to miss a pre-season game.
