The NBA warned LeBron James and his teammate Kyle Kuzma that they had violated the "anti-cheating" rule (flopping) during the game they played and beat the Grizzlies 115-105.

The NBA detailed in an official statement that James's violation occurred with 2 minutes and 33 seconds left in the second quarter after he exaggerated the fall when fighting for a rebound between guard Dillon Brooks and Grizzlies guard Grayson Allen.

While Kuzma's was in the absence of 6:31 minutes before the end of the fourth period, always according to the report offered by the NBA.

The illegal action, occurred when defending Brooks, and Kuzma tried to deceive the referees with an intentional fall in attack after Brooks lowered his shoulder and initiated contact with the Lakers player's hip, but in a totally regulatory and without doing any physical harm.

The NBA sought to clean up the game by observing the hype from players in downfalls since the 2012-13 season.

After receiving a warning, a player may be subject to fines that increase from $ 5,000 to $ 10,000 to $ 15,000 to $ 30,000 for each subsequent violation.

If a player reaches six cheating attempts in a season, the fine can be increased further and the league has the right to issue a suspension.

Almost a decade after the rule change was introduced, the anti-cheating rule is rarely enforced.

Before James and Kuzma, only five players had been warned by the league this season.

The other warned players are LaMelo Ball (Charlotte), DJ Augustin (Milwaukee), Gary Trent Jr (Portland), Kristaps Porzingis (Dallas) and Mason Jones (Houston).

The last player to be fined by the NBA for attempting to trick umpires with falls was
