Manchester United continue to bleed points with a disappointing draw in the Premier League

Manchester United continued to bleed points in the English Premier League, after a disappointing 1/1 draw with West Bromwich Albion, on Sunday, in the twenty-fourth stage of the competition, which also saw Wolverhampton win 2/1 against Southampton.

United raised its score to 46 points in second place, seven points behind its arch-rival Manchester City (the leaders), who still has a game in hand, while West Bromwich rose to 13 points, but remained in the penultimate position.

West Brom came up with a surprise goal through Mbaye Diane in the second minute, but Portuguese Bruno Fernandez scored the equalizer for Manchester United in the 44th minute.

With this goal, Fernandez ranked second in the tournament's top scorer list this season with 14 goals, 3 goals behind Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger.

This draw comes to increase the frustration of the United fans, especially since the team has achieved only two victories in its last seven matches in the competition.

Wolverhampton's team overturned a goal against Southampton to a 2-1 victory earlier today.

Southampton took the lead in the 25th minute through Danny Ings, but Robin Neves equalized for Wolverhampton from a penalty kick in the 53rd minute, then Pedro Neto secured the winning goal in the 66th minute.

The win brought Wolverhampton to 30 points, leading to twelfth place, one point ahead of Southampton, who ranked thirteenth.
