Since BK Häcken voted for Göteborg FC, there has been silence about club chairman Peter Bronsman.

- I have deliberately kept a low profile so as not to disturb Häcken.

That it became clear is fantastic.

Now the women's team in Gothenburg actually gets the same conditions as the men and it is unique and fantastic by Häcken.

They get opportunities that we could never have given the players, says Bronsman.

But what really happened when Peter Bronsman from nowhere declared that he wanted to "give away" Sweden's best women's team?

Received criticism for the communication

He himself claims that he did it to give the women's team better conditions, something that Gothenburg FC themselves had never succeeded with.

- We only had a women's team that did not have dignified conditions.

Had nothing been done, we would have gone the other way in our development and we do not want that.

You were criticized for how it was communicated.

Do you understand that?

- It is good that everyone thinks and thinks.

Then they did not know what we wanted either, but our focus was on the future and the women's team.

There will also be a younger generation who must dream of playing under the same conditions as the men.

It was not many weeks after the gold that this message came.

Was it meant to shake up and shock?

- It's easy to say so.

I do business and when you have made a good deal, or as in this case a merger, the idea is not to shock but to improve.

We could have done an afterthought, but it is only now that we know that it turned out well, says Bronsman.

"We wanted to do something better"

Can you understand that from the outside you can see it as a game for the galleries?

- We have given ourselves a thousand to give the players better conditions.

We could have played another year or two but we did not want to.

Now we wanted to do something better, not only for Swedish football but for the entire women's football to give them conditions.

One can speculate but we choose not to do so.

Bronsman, CEO of the Kopparberg brewery, has concentrated much of his business in England.

According to information to SVT Sport, Bronsman is looking at a takeover of an English club.

Something that both Sportbladet and GP have previously reported on.

Bronsman has previously denied the information, but now opens the door:

- There is nothing on the wallpaper today.

First we'll finish this, then we'll see.

According to information to SVT, the reason is that Bronsman wants to win the Champions League.

When asked if he has concrete plans to join an English club, he answers:

- Many have asked me, but I have not been to any club.

I have read that I have been both here and there.

It is true that I have visited many clubs, but not to do anything more than just watch football.

English football is a fantastic product that reaches many people.
