The conditions in the ladies' World Cup sprint in Slovenian Pokljuka were difficult with tricky winds.

The Swedish medal jumper Hanna Öberg was one of those who did not succeed with two zeros on the shooting range.

After a flawless lying shooting, there was a boom in standing and she was far too far behind.

- It felt like it went okay.

Somehow I am still happy that I meet nine out of ten today, says Öberg.

"A little disturbing"

She also lost a lot of time in the track at the end and was a full 58.8 seconds behind Eckhoff in the finish.

- A little worrying, says SVT Sports expert Björn Ferry.

Hanna Öberg herself was relatively satisfied.

- The last lap I do not have this tempo change that I would have liked.

A day like today one would have liked to have a better feeling.

It's not really a disaster.

This is the last lap when I lose places, says Öberg.

After today's effort, she is almost a minute behind in the upcoming hunt start.

- A lot can be done from that position.

I really think so.

Eckhoff shot full

Norwegian star Eckhoff was one of those who shot flawlessly and she won the gold twelve seconds before the second, Anaïs Chevalier-Bouchet, France, and just over 14 before the third Hanna Sola from Belarus.

Eckhoff, who was part of the Norwegian mixed relay team, thus has two golds in two races in the World Cup so far.

For the other Swedes, it was just like for Hanna Öberg no bank day.

Linn Persson (16th) shot two booms and Elvira Öberg (21st) and Mona Brorsson three.

The competition is ongoing.
