He was raised in Rögle but made a name for himself in the SHL when he moved to HV71 where he was team captain for two seasons.

For the 2017/2018 season, he returned to Rögle and played three seasons.

But in the autumn he tested his luck abroad and the move went to Bern in Switzerland.

But now he breaks the contract with Bern and moves home to Sweden and Rögle.

"Feels right"

- It feels right to come home to Rögle again and help my association to achieve success, in the short and long term, Brithén says to Rögle's website.

He has signed a contract for the 2025/26 season and now intends to stay in Rögle for good.

- I am in Rögle to stay and am grateful and happy about the opportunity to be part of and make a fantastic journey with the association for many years.

Then he's ready to play
