William Poromaa opted out of the Swedish Championships in Borås to run the U23 WC Vuokatti, Finland.
It seemed to be a successful move as he was involved for a long time and fought for the medals.
But in the end he had to give up.
It was a fourth place for Poromaa.
Johan Herbert also made a strong effort.
He finished sixth in the race.
