Real Madrid announced on Wednesday the death of Enrique Perez (Bachin), one of the team's former football legends, at the age of 82.

The president of the royal club and the club’s board of directors mourned the former star with great sorrow and sadness through Bilin on the club’s website today.

The club stated in its obituary: "Real Madrid would like to express its sincere condolences and sympathy with the late wife and two daughters Cristina and Mercedes and his two grandsons Javier and Christina and all his relatives and loved ones."

He played for Real from 1959 to 1968.

During nine seasons with Real Madrid, the late star played 218 matches with the team, winning two European championship titles and one Intercontinental Cup title, in addition to winning seven titles in the Spanish League and one title in the Spanish Cup.

Bachin, who has been associated with Real Madrid throughout his entire life, has also played for the Spanish national football team.
