Guest Villa Lidköping clearly started strongest but lost the lead twice and the longer the match went on, the more Sandviken took over the match.

Thanks to, among other things, two well-placed corner goals by Victor Berling, they scored two points.

- We are really happy with this.

It's fun for the boys, says Sandviken's coach in Sportbladet Play after the match.

Painted in the old home arena

Villa started the shooting after 15 minutes after Sandviken goalkeeper Joel Othén threw himself against Albin Thomsen who came free and was awarded a penalty.

Christoffer Edlund, with nine seasons in Sandviken on the merit list, took care of the penalty, made no mistakes but sent it rock hard into goal.

The answer came quickly.

Just three minutes later, Daniel Berlin got a perfect shot on a corner return and put 1-1.

But Villa responded even faster and again it was an ex-Sandvikare who got to net in the old home arena.

Erik Säfström put 2-1 just three minutes after the equalizer.

"Under all criticism"

But ten minutes into the second half came the equalizer when Victor Berling pressed the ball into a corner.

The second half was really Sandviken's man took over the game more and more and had many chances to net.

In total, they got 15 corners.

In the 65th minute they got their 12th and it was used well.

Just like on the equalizer, it was Victor Berling who got a rock hard hit and the ball drilled into the goal to 3-2.

With just over six minutes left, Sandviken expanded further when Dennis Henriksen put 4-3 after a fine pre-work by Daniel Berlin.

Sandviken eventually won 5-3 after Daniel Berlin put the nail in the coffin with his 5-3 goal in the final minutes.

Afterwards, Villa coach Johan Sixtensson was really disappointed.

- The first 30 minutes of the second half are under all criticism.

We're running away, it's too bad.

SAIK wins fairly, says Sixtensson in Sportbladet Play.

Sandviken now steps up to second place in the table, two points behind leading Villa.
