Anton Persson took home the Swedish Championship gold in the sprint at the Swedish Ski Championships in Borås.

The SK Bore skier was the fastest in the qualifiers, then won his heats in both the quarterfinals and semifinals and was also the strongest in the finals which he won before Johan Häggström and Hugo Jacobsson.

He had not thought that he would take his first Swedish Championship medal on this very day.

- I had a little problem with my stomach so I lay up and vomited all night the day before yesterday.

So this was pretty incredible, says Persson to SVT.

- It feels incredibly good.

But I'm almost too tired to be happy right now.
