Canal + recorded its best audience in the Ligue 1 championship this season on Sunday evening with the OM-PSG poster.

The channel said 1.7 million viewers followed the meeting and a peak of 2.3 million was observed at the start of the meeting.

1.7 million viewers watched the shock OM-PSG match on Sunday evening on the encrypted channel, its best audience in the Ligue 1 championship this season, according to data communicated by a spokesperson.

The channel also indicates that it peaked at nearly 2.3 million viewers at the start of the match. 

Best audience in all cases

After suffering a significant defeat in the first leg against Olympique de Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain took revenge at the Vélodrome by winning (2-0).

A match that has earned the broadcaster the best audience in all cases, for one of the channels of the Canal + group, since the previous "Classic" in October 2019, argues the broadcaster.

Canal + had negotiated with the Football League (LFP) the co-broadcasting of the OM-PSG match, alongside Téléfoot, the channel in liquidation of the Mediapro group.
