After a training session on Saturday, Sarah Sjöström would meet a friend.
On the way there, she slipped on an ice patch and hit her elbow.
She went to Sankt Göran Hospital in Stockholm where it was found that she has a fracture of her elbow.
- It's very treacherous.
In her case, the elbow received the whole case, says national team doctor René Tour.
Tour told during a press conference that Sjöström will be operated on on Monday morning.
